We took advantage of this truth and used it as an opportunity to communicate our brand’s message about the perils of hunger. By creating branded stickers and placing them next to the worst examples of public failures, we demonstrated how people’s brains stop working when they’re hungry.


We also installed our own examples of poorly-executed jobs around high traffic locations, grabbing people’s attention and generating buzz. The campaign reminded people to curb their hunger before it gets out of hand. Content was spread on Snicker’s social channels, encouraging users to share any #HungryMistakes they encountered or committed themselves.


The response was very positive generating buzz around the subject. ADWEEK said: “Snickers is killing it lately”. Venables Bell gave us a shout out on Twitter: “@Snickers’ latest: You Make Mistakes When You’re Hungry” stunt is so simple and so smart. #envy”. Even “the Telegraph” in the U.K. picked it up.
